Welcome to Gravity, the UK’s first smart campus, home to the Agratas gigafactory development.
Together with Agratas, we are accelerating the UK’s shift towards a zero-carbon economy, placing Somerset at the centre of the clean growth revolution and benefitting local villages, the county and wider region.
Through the creation of up to 7,500 new jobs, we want to secure a legacy of opportunities for people who wish to live and work locally and enjoy the unique Somerset countryside.

This award winning piece of infrastructure connects Gravity to the A39 and to the wider UK motorway network via Junction 23 of the M5.
The link road named ‘Enterprise Way’ opened to the public in October 2021 with landscaping currently being monitored.
This is a key step in bringing Gravity forward as a viable commercial destination that is attractive to international investment and large-scale operators. Read about the sustainability credentials of Enterprise Way in Stantec’s case study for The Climate Resilient Infrastructure Report.
