Gravity is committed to creating social value locally, our legacy initiative continues to ensure the 37 Club facilities are replaced and embedded in the wider area.
The Gravity Local Development Order is a streamlined form of planning consent, ideally suited to the Gravity Enterprise Zone. The Gravity LDO was adopted in February 2022 by Sedgemoor District Council (now Somerset Council), for more information click here.

This award winning piece of infrastructure connects Gravity to the A39 and to the wider UK motorway network via Junction 23 of the M5.
The link road named ‘Enterprise Way’ opened to the public in October 2021 with landscaping currently being monitored.

The Gravity Village Enhancement Scheme (VES) – the proposed sustainable connection between the villages of Puriton and Woolavington – is due to start on site in 2026, following the appointment of Montel Civil Engineering as the link’s main contractor.
The VES scheme aims to provide a safe and attractive route for walking and cycling, reduce traffic speed via the introduction of traffic-calming measures, and improve highway safety within the villages of Puriton and Woolavington. It will provide the first off-road route between the two villages, and to the new 37 Club.
The works are anticipated to take a minimum of seven months to complete.
