Gravity Chairman to join Green Investment panel discussion

Gravity Chairman, Martin Bellamy will be joining an upcoming panel discussion ‘Green Investment and the drive to new energy‘ on 24 February hosted by Real Estate Live UK. The discussion will highlight the role of the investment and development sectors in the drive to net zero.

It’s clear that both the public and private sector must play a part in the drive to create a nation powered by green energy. There is a wealth of opportunity across the UK’s renewable energy sector, but how can these projects be brought forward at pace? This panel discussion will discuss where there are opportunities for investment and showcase forward-thinking ideas on how we can deliver the shift to a clean energy economy.

London, September 2, 2020 – Martin Bellamy, Chairman of This Is Gravity Ltd was interviewed on BBC Radio 5 live’s ‘Wake up to Money’ programme. The discussion centered on current business affairs, Gravity’s ambition for advanced manufacturing in the UK and the future of Apple and Tesla

Martin Bellamy comments, “The UK desperately needs to build ‘Gigfactories’ like Elon Musk is around the world…for the UK to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles, the government must be prepared to back the initiatives which enable the UK to mass manufacture lithium-ion batteries.”

London, March 5, 2020 – Gravity, the UK’s first commercial smart campus – the blueprint for a smarter, cleaner future was featured on the BBC Ten O’clock News last night regarding the need for the South West not to be overlooked in the Budget.

Our Chairman, Martin Bellamy, spoke with Alex Forsyth about the need for greater regional investment from Government, enabling the South West’s infrastructure and mobility offering to develop in line with the rest of the UK. This interview comes in response to the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s government ambition to “level up” economic performance in all parts of the country.

Martin Bellamy: Sedgemoor Business Conference

Our CEO,  Martin Bellamy, will be speaking at the upcoming ‘Well Connected for Growth, organised by Sedgemoor District Council, held on December 6th.
